<p>Pets provide companionship, security, and a sense of comfort; and more than 70 percent of the United States households have a dog or cat.  However, people with allergies need to be careful when trying to decide which kind of pet they can safely bring home.</p>
<p>Sneezing and wheezing are oftentimes the result of exposure to a pet.  Ten percent of the population may be allergic to its animals.  Higher rates 20 to 30 percent have asthma and also have pet allergies.</p>
<p>Human Allergies to Dogs</p>
<p>Thousands of people suffer from animal allergies.  Some are heartbreaking cases of those who love their dog but must decide whether or not to keep the pet.  Due to severe allergies, many may be forced to find a new owner for their dog.</p>
<p>The parts of the animal that people are most allergic to are the dander, the saliva, or the urine.  Because dogs and cats are the most common pets, they top the list of pets people are also allergic to.  In addition to this factor, people may be allergic to certain types of dogs and not to others.</p>
<p>What are the Symptoms?</p>
<p>People who have multiple allergies know when their allergies are bothering them.  They suffer from signs such as:  runny nose, watery eyes, asthma symptoms, red itchy skin, or a rash.  People that don&#8217;t seem aware of their symptoms have a greater risk for colds and asthma symptoms.</p>
<p>Are there any hypoallergenic dogs?</p>
<p>No, there are no hypoallergenic dogs.  All dogs shed, but some do more than others.  That is primarily because some have a denser coat of hair than do other breeds.  It is not the hair that people are allergic to anyway, it is the dander.  Some breeds of dogs do seem to have less dander and these include:  Terriers, Poodles, and Schnauzers.  Many people can be allergic to one type of dogs and not another.</p>
<p>How can a person reduce allergic symptoms to a pet?</p>
<p>There are some things that you can do to help keep your reactions at bay, if you or a family member is part of the population allergic to dogs.  You can do some of the following to make your home more comfortable:  Bathe your pet weekly, do not allow the pet on the furniture, do not allow your pet in the house, or do not allow the pet in the car.</p>
<p>Animals and pets are a very integral part of our lives and it is impossible to avoid contact with them.  By adopting some good management strategies, we can help combat our allergies and make life for our pet better as well.</p>

<p>Are you carrying around a little more weight than you would like?  Possibly a lot more weight than you would like and you have to do something about it?  You are not without company. The obesity epidemic in America is out of control.  Obesity is also a growing problem around the world as American fast-food franchises open in countries that have never had this problem on a large-scale.</p>
<p>Being overweight can lead to severe health issues.  Having too much extra weight can make you more prone to heart problems, diabetes, strokes, and some types of cancer.   You deserve to enjoy life, being unhealthy when you can do something about it is no way to live. </p>
<p>Just because you are on a low calorie diet does not mean you have to starve yourself or eat nothing but sprouts and brand. Understanding this can help you stay determined and take off some of that weight that is making you unhealthy.  Some weight loss programs can make you weak and hungry. The good news is you don&#8217;t have go through this to lose weight. In fact it is much easer to loose weight if you eat enough of the right foods so you don&#8217;t get weak and hungry. If you eat healthy foods you will lose weight naturally and keep it off. </p>
<p>It is better that you do not feel hungry. Our bodies tell us that we had better eat when we are hungry. It is a matter of self-preservation, the problem is then we eat foods we should not and we eat too much. It is better to eat smaller regular meals and keep from getting hungry and gorging on ding dongs. If you eat a healthy diet long enough your body will not crave ding dongs.</p>
<p>A low calorie diet with foods you like will help you stick to a healthy eating plan and reach your weight loss goals. Keeping yourself from getting hungry is a key to not overeating. It is also the key to keeping from being miserable.  Don&#8217;t think of it as a diet, think of it as foods you like to eat that will not add fat. </p>
<p>How to Loose Weight</p>
<p>Eating more calories than you can burn will cause you to gain weigh. Take in less calories than you burn and you will lose weight. The best way to do it is to eat less calories, and increasing the number of calories you burn at the same time. Work out and eat better, notice I did not say, &#8220;eat less food&#8221;. Eating better is always preferable to eating less. You may find foods that you like that you can eat as much as you like, as long as you do not eat any more Twinkies and walk around the block. It sounds simple and it is but this is the best safe weight loss plan. Learn what foods you like that are low calorie and eat more of them. Each week add a new food and cut out a high calorie food.  </p>
<p>Quick weight loss diet plans work in the short run but if you want to keep it off for life you must eat fewer calories, and increasing the number of calories you burn. Your body will not like you and you will not feel good if you go back and forth between gaining weight and then doing the latest fast weight loss diet or taking weight loss pills to get it off for the next prom. For some of us there is always the next prom or reunion we need to get ready for. When it is over we go back to our normal way of eating. I understand this because I did this for years.</p>
<p>Another important point is that you are not eating a low calorie healthy diet to be skinny. Skinny for you may not be healthy; to me skinny people do not look right. It makes me want to buy them lunch or have them over for dinner. If you are not meant to be skinny than why make yourself miserable trying to get there.  A healthy weight is different for everyone.</p>
<p>Even worse is believing you have to be skinny to be happy. Be happy now, enjoy the body you have and eat healthy to get to a weight that a healthy weight for you. If you want to take 10 lbs off for the prom that is one thing but if you want to keep it off for your 10 year reunion that&#8217;s something all together different.</p>

<p>Can you see dimpling or rippling when you pinch yourself? If so, you most likely have a problem with cellulite. This is something which nobody wants, but don&#8217;t despair ? there are many treatments which you can use to help.  </p>
<p>Perhaps the best way to get rid of cellulite is to get more exercise and make sure that you are getting a healthy diet. You should cut down on alcohol and caffeine and be sure to drink plenty of water.  </p>
<p>There are many common over the counter medications which can cause or exacerbate cellulite problems. The worst offenders are diet pills, laxatives and diuretics ? taken on a regular basis, these pills can spell cellulite.  </p>
<p>Your first thought, as far as cellulite treatment, is probably to pick up a cellulite reducing cream at the pharmacy, right? The problem is that most of those creams are only temporary fixes. You have to keep constantly smearing them on your cellulite. That can get frustrating, as well as expensive! So, be prepared for the time and costs involved.  </p>
<p>If you use creams, you might choose to use a cellulite cream that contains aminophylline, since it causes fat cells to convert to fatty acids. The fatty acids go right back into your bloodstream, so your cellulite should be reduced. Just be sure to keep such creams out of extreme heat and be aware that many believe these types of harsh chemicals should not be used at all. You&#8217;ll need to make that decision for yourself.  </p>
<p>Cellulite creams and lotions which contain the ingredients glycolic acid and lactic acid can help to remove the top layer of dead skin cells quickly, which will lend a healthier look to your skin. Products which contain retinol and alpha hydroxyl acid can also have this effect. These salon style treatments can help, but also tend to be somewhat expensive.  </p>
<p>Many salon owners recommend that people wear pantyhose to prevent cellulite formation. The theory is that the friction generated by mesh against the skin will stimulate circulation. The research isn&#8217;t in yet, but hosiery can cover cellulite if not eliminate it.  </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t underestimate the power of a good massage, either. Like the underwear, the idea is that it stimulates your skin. It doesn&#8217;t really change the cause, but it can help you to have less appearance of cellulite. Too much massage can break blood vessels under your skin, though, so be careful with this approach.   </p>
<p>As you can see, there are a lot of different cellulite treatment options available. The best of these is still just to get plenty of exercise, drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. Not only is this probably the most effective cellulite treatment, it is also good for your overall health and well-being.</p>

There are so many companies promising to vanish wrinkles with magic creams or needles, or worse. The key is to understand that not every solution works for all individuals.</p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t received your recent dose of reality television, then you probably haven&#8217;t viewed any of the shows dealing with plastic surgery. Yikes! These programs always make me cringe. They&#8217;re filled with unsatisfied individuals who are looking to enlarge their breasts, have their thighs vacuumed, or possibly remove wrinkles from their weathered brow. </p>
<p>They love to reveal the actual surgeries, which in turn might make you think twice about your tiny age lines. As you may already know, one of the more common ways to remove wrinkles is via a face-lift. This is when the face is literally outlined with a scalpel and then stretched back in order to rid your mug of any lines or wrinkles. Sound painful? </p>
<p>Skin creams also promise results on a smaller budget, but there is always argument as to whether they yield results. <p>The birmingham cardiac 3 day diet supposedly was invented in the Birmingham, Alabama Hospital cardiac unit as a tool to assist patients with fast weight loss prior to surgery.  </p>
<p>The diet been criticized as a fad diet for quick, short-term weight loss. This fad diet promises weight loss of up to 10 pounds in just three days.  The diet is also known as:</p>
<p>The Baptist Hospital three-day diet, American Heart Association three-day diet, bubba&#8217;s three-day diet, Florida three-day diet, three-day cardiac death, three-day army die, Hospital three-day diet, and a three day heart diet.</p>
<p>The diet&#8217;s claim that you will lose 10 pounds might be true.  But in reality the way.  Losing is most likely water weight is definitely not dense body fat.</p>
<p>This diet makes all sorts of claims including: cleansing, rapid weight loss, decreased cholesterol, increased energy and cleansing</p>
<p>So, curious about how works?  You are required to follow the diet exactly for three days of each week.  During the remaining four days of the week eat as usual.  If you want to lose more weight resume the diet for three more days. </p>
<p>So what can you eat? The birmingham cardiac 3 day diet is a very specific plan and you must follow it explicitly in order to see results.  If you eat any other foods than those on the diet plan, it will be considered over eating and likely you won&#8217;t lose weight. The diet also stresses that under eating should be avoided as well.   In fact, you must eat the recommended portions even if you aren&#8217;t hungry at the time you&#8217;re supposed to eat!</p>
