Doggy doors were created when manufacturers discovered that people didn’t like to stand up and open the door for their dog every time the dog had to go out. Nowadays, doggy doors of many sorts are sold regularly on pet stores or hardware stores. If you want to get a door that’s right for your dog, you have to take into consideration its size, its breed and its need for exercise. You have to take into account other things as well, such as how safe the door is for the dog and the house, how easy it is to install the door, and how much it costs. However, a doggy door is always a better option than tying your dog to a pole out of your house or than keeping it locked inside your house.
